Super Slaw

A super easy and nutrient-packed broccoli slaw. Sunflower and hemp seeds add nutty flavor and protein.


  • 9-ounce bag broccoli slaw mix
  • 1/2 cup lemon yogurt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup dried apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds


In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, raisins, dried apples, sunflower seeds and hemp seeds and mix well. Add the broccoli slaw mix and toss well to coat with the dressing. Let the slaw sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestion

Squeeze half a lemon over the salad just before serving and mix well to refresh the flavors. The nutrient-packed crunch of this slaw nicely complements hearty sandwiches on crusty whole-grain bread.
