Lunchskins

Woman-owned Business

While raising her active family, founder Kirsten Quigley noticed how much waste she generated, packing 20+ lunches a week and countless snacks. The Lunchskins brand was born in 2008 out of her desire for a planet-friendly and stylish alternative to disposable plastic bags. Quigley knew her solution had to be easy, affordable and fun so people would make it part of their daily routine. With a background in environmental sciences, Kirsten and her team produced the world’s first patent-pending, selfsealing, disposable paper bag, first dishwasher-safe reusable fabric bag and plant-based compostable ziptop bags. To date, this woman-owned B Corp has prevented 3.2 billion plastic baggies from entering our landfills, oceans and waterways!
